Options to customize email templates

What are our options to customize email templates/autoresponders that we get during customer purchasing and/or backing out of orders?

We'd like to add images and such to the email confirmations customers get so we can point out specific text/copy on the emails to make these areas more obvious.

Hi,

To customize email you have to go through the menu System > Emails and edit the desired email.
This is available with the business edition of HikaShop.

Else you can edit mails via FTP in the folder "media/com_hikashop/mail" but when updating the changes made will be lost.
With the edition interface (business) you keep all your modifications when updating.

Okay text is solved now, but how do I adjust the colors and optionally add a logo along with the emails?

You have to edit the HTML version of the email as Xavier explained in his message:

There, add the HTML tag for your logo image and modify the CSS code the way you want.
