Add custom DATE field in mail ORDER_ADMIN_NOTIFICATION

HI,

We have added a custom field (table address column date) and would like to add this to the mail send to the admin.
This works with {VAR:billing_address.date} but the result is "20200620000000" where we would like to format the date like d/m/Y.
How can we do this?

Hi,

Yes, the email tags display the raw data from the database.
So for the date, you can't do it like that.
However, if it's a custom address field, why not add its tag to the "address format" setting under the Checkout tab of the Hikashop configuration ? In that case, the field data will be converted properly and it will appear along with the rest of the address.
