Import characteristics frm VirtueMart

We imported products from VirtueMart, but the characteristics didn't import .

Is that a shortcoming of the importsoftware or did we do something wrong?

Hi,

By characteristics, do you mean dimensions (weight, volume...) ?
If so, just take a look at www.hikashop.com/forum/install-update/86...-producs.html#139552 ; this should fix your problem.
If not, can you be more specific about characteristics missing, and the version of Virtuemart you're using ?

Sorry you're right. The J 1.5 tables were empty. We restored them again.

That's right. They aren't imported!





In table 'joom_vm_product`, field 'attribute' attribute there all the variants with a price. It looks like this:
beschikbare maten,6/8 cm hoogte circa 225 cm blotewortel[=20.75472],6/8 cm hoogte circa 225 cm met kluit[=30.18868],8/10 cm hoogte circa 275 cm blotewortel[=28.30189],8/10 cm hoogte circa 275 cm met kluit[=37.73585],boom in pot leverbaar op prijsaanvraag[=0.00]

This has to be imported in Hikashop.

Hi Jan,

I'm sorry, but we can't import those characteristics. The way they are managed by Virtuemart is to far different from the way Hikashop is doing it. To recreate those characteristics would be really complicated, maybe more than the whole import himself. The only thing you can do here is to create manually those characteristics in Hikashop side.
