error export words with accents

Hello, I would like to resolve the issue of export orders with customers that have name or address with accented characters such as "ò" "à" "ì" "è". In the hikashop user registration are entered correctly eg "Via Riccardo Arnò 18" but when I export the order in csv "Via Riccardo Arnò 18" appears. How can I risovere? There is to change the character set in the database or there is to modify the php file export?

Hi,

The problem come from the software you are using to open the csv file.
With HikaShop we are exporting in UTF-8 so accent are managed, but if you open the file not in UTF-8 so you have strange characters.

So fore example if you are using Excel, you must open excel, then click on "import" and select the file, it will ask the desired option to import the file, here select UTF-8. Or you can use Open office, which propose the settings when openning a file directly.
