What table rows to import on new site

Hi,

I'm developing a new template on the hikashop site on a subdomain. Of course orders and users are continuing on the live site. What table rows do I have to export / import before going live with the new site? Is it better to delete those table rows first on the development site and then import them fom the live site or can i just overwrite them with the import?

It depends what data you want to migrate.
How about the products ? The votes ? The carts ? The addresses ? etc.
Is the main website done with HikaShop too ?
And if you're just developing a new template, why not just install that template on the live website and switch it on ?
If you're just making a new template and not changing the menus, the content, etc, that would be better.
