Creating Products with Images by upload csv

I like to upload my products (1000) by csv file. The csv is from my other shop. Is there any possibility to upload my product images from url files, i do not have my images in a folder.

Is there any way how can i do this?

Hi,

HikaShop have an import system.
During the import you can provide links for the images, like you can provide relative paths.

I have more than 150 manufacturer. Are the csv also creating automaticly the manufacturer, or do i need creat first the manufacturer.

Hi,

The support of the manufacturer in the import is also supported.
You can set data for categories in the CSV. In HikaShop database, the manufacturers and the categories are using the same structure.

In order to have a sample CSV for your import, the easier is to perform an export of few products. The export will give you a CSV for the product and his categories ; with that data you will have the structure to define a manufacturer (and categories) in the CSV.
You will be able to define the manufacturer in the column "product_manufacturer_id", where you can put an "ID" if the manufacturer already exists or the "category_namekey" if the CSV will import it in the same time than the products.
