CRON needed for Mass actions ?

I've read the documentation. It didn't mention the need of any CRON tasks to launch specific Mass actions every day.

When are these actions launched when I ask for "every day" ? Are they triggered when users navigate on the website ?

They do need a cron task. However, with commercial editions of HikaShop, you get a cron task service you can configure under the "cron task" tab of the HikaShop configuration.

But when are they launched if I configure "each day" ?

HikaShop stores a parameter in the table hikashop_config of the database with the latest date when the "every day" actions were launched. By default it doesn't exist so it starts counting when you first trigger the cron of HikaShop.
So if you want to modify the hour of the trigger, you would have to modify that value with the namekey massaction_last_trigger_days in the hikashopc_config table of the database via your phpmyadmin.
