Import from Mijoshop HTML characters was created by komir
Hello I have one problem with imported products and categories from Mijoshop
After import, all product and category descriptions have displayed HTML character in fronted, like, <p>, <span ... , stile ...
Is there any way to remove in bulk all those characters from products and category descriptions? Maybe some SQL command to execute to remove them? Maybe some other solution?

Hi,
You would need to do that via your PHPMyAdmin with a function you would first have to add:
stackoverflow.com/questions/3678980/is-t...decode-html-entities
Then you could just run a MySQL query with that function.
For example:
where #__ is to be replaced by the prefix of your tables.

Hi,
As explained on the link I gave you, you first need to add the HTML_UnEncode function.
So you need to copy / paste the code of the function from that link and run it as if it was a MySQL query in your PHPMyAdmin. Then, you can run the query I gave you and it should work.

Hi,
This means MySQL wasn't able to execute the HTML_UnEncode function on one of the descriptions as it contain some text which, decoded doesn't produce valid UTF8 or the product_description column is not in UTF8, which it should be.
As it doesn't says exactly where it stopped I'm not sure what is the problem and how to avoid it.
I'm afraid this would require some debugging and spending a few hours on this for a developper to figure out how to do this.

You can use the replace function in your MySQL query to remove these:
