Affiliate Commission reduction after 30 days?

I would like to be able to setup a cookie that doesn't expire after thirty days but reduces the commission paid from 20% to 5%. Is this possible natively? Any help is appreciated.

There is no option for that. It would require customization of the code of the affiliate plugin.
If the cookie is found, then you apply the normal commission. If the cookie is missing, you use instead the partner stored in the user data of the customer and apply the reduced commission.
