I am almost sure it does but better I ask: does the affiliate program apply to Hikauction as well?

If so, is there a way to configure commission sharing?

For example, if on an auction we earn a buyer's premium of (for example) 1,000 and want to offer 30%, the affiliate would receive 300.
Is there a system in place that supports this?

Hi,

I think you're mixing two things:
- the vendor commission on the sold products which goes to the vendor based on the link between the sold product and the vendor. This is handled by HikaMarket.
- the affiliate commission on the sale which goes to the partner based on the origin of the customer. This is handled by the Affiliate plugin.
So yes, you can have both in parrallel.

Thank you for your response. You are correct.

To clarify my business model:
I act similarly to Booking.com that creates hotel profiles on their website and connect hotels with clients. When a client pays a reservation €1,000, booking.com receive a 20% commission (€200).

Additionally, Booking.com offers an affiliate system where they share a portion of their 20% commission with affiliates who refer bookings from their websites using a referral code. Therefore, Booking.com pays the commission-shared fee to the client, not the hotel.

Is this setup possible to implement using HikaShop?

Hi,

Yes. Note however that the affiliate commission is calculated on the total amount of the order, not the commission to the vendor.
So if you want a 20% affiliate commission on the vendor commission and the vendor commission is 20% of the total amount, you need to configure a 4% commission on sales. (because 20% of 20% = 0.2 * 0.2 = 0.04 = 4%)
