workflow bug

just came across a bug, please let me know if this is just me it's happening to.

I have login and payment on seperate workflow so

cart > login > payment

if I add something to the cart, logout, login, then go back to cart, click next, blank login step.

Could you tell us what is your checkout workflow (not just the steps on the front end progress bar but the whole text in the checkout workflow option in the configuration) ?
