How is the URL box in Add Product used?

Hello,

While adding a new product I noticed the URL field box in the Add Product screen. I found no documentation on this field. How is this used?

Thanks in advance,

It's in the documentation:

Url : The url of the product is a url to the manufacturer website in order to get more information for your customers. This url, if filled in, will be displayed on the product page.
