Credit Card - configuring the acquirer

I am new to this. I want to set up credit card processing. My understanding is that I will have to register as a merchant with an "Acquirer" such as a bank. I am trying to find out where I configure this acquirer information into the configuration for HikaShop credit card payment plugin. I have found no advice on configuring the Acquirer information for Visa for example. So how does the acquirer bank know where to transfer the payment funds into my merchant account?

I understand how to do this with PayPal, it is in
Plugins > System > Payment methods > HikaShop Paypal payment plugin
under E-mail:
"Your paypal email address : The email you used to register your paypal account on which you will receive the payments from your customers"

The credit card plugin allows you to collect your customers' credit card information in order to process the transaction with a payment terminal ( some users use that method because fees can be way more interesting than online processing of the transaction ). That's why there is no information to enter into that plugin.

If you want to process the transactions online, you need to contract with your bank or an online payment processing platform like paypal and then use the corresponding plugin (so the plugin needs to exists for the platform you want to use or you need to develop it ).

If you use the credit card payment method, half of the credit card details can be seen in the backend when you edit the oder, in the "history" section of the page. The other half is included in the email that is sent to you in the "order admin notification" email that you receive as an admin just after the order is created at the end of the checkout.
