Euro character code

hello everyone,

When i upload my site online to test the hika shop component, the euro characte in prices disappear and some strange character appear in same place "€"...

after a brief look in google, i notice that it might be a problem with UTF-8.

Where can i resolve this problem?

Hard to say without seeing the problem on your website...

Note: Working Site - fake products and prices -

The UTF8 encoding is correctly sent by your server.
The problem probably happened when you imported your SQL data if you didn't specify the correct encoding (utf8).
If that's just the euro symbol, you can go in the menu System->Currencies and edit the euro currency and change its symbol to € and save.

unfortunately its not only the euro symbol, but all the Portuguese language characters "Ç" "ã" and so on...
i have some problems uploading the database, i think i am gone delete it, and upload again.
