Product Categories

I try to put a product into a specific category, but it won't go in, it just stays in "product category". How do I get it to go into the specific category? This is the only product doing this. I've even deleted the product and tried to recreate it.

You need to edit the product, there, delete the category from your product's categories list and click on the "add" button to select the other category where you want to put your product. The category should appear in the category list of your product before saving the product information. If you don't see the new category in the category listing of your product before saving, or if you don't save the product after, the modification won't be taken into account.

I did exactly that. A few times actually, and it still appears in the Product category. Every other product appears in the appropriate category except this one.

If you have trouble changing the category of your product you can create a new product and remove that one. Before clicking on the new button, make sure that you're displaying the listing of products of the category where you want to add product. That way, you don't need to enter any category in the product and when you save the product, the current category will be added automatically.
