changing where it says per unit on product page

i need to change where it says per unit on the product page to per day, as the site im building is for a rental business, where can i find the code to change it?

You need to edit your translation file in the tab languages of the configuration screen. There you will be able to change the text "per_unit" to something. It's at the top of the file. You can't miss it:
