credit card payment method

Hi there;

Im new to hikashop and cant find the way to configure the payments methods. How can I set up the credit card payment? can somebody help, please!!!

easy, on the main configuration panel of hikashop -->system --> payement methods, then enable the option corresponding witch payement method you want display, on the list.

You also need to configure it with the information provided by your payment gateway with which you want to process your transactions.

thanks for the quick response. pls let me know exactly where I have to insert the bank details in the credit card method .I cant find it!!! pls help !!! becoming desperate.....

The credit card payment plugin enables you to collect the credit card information for when you want to process manually the transactions with your own payment terminal that you got from your bank.
If you want the credit card transaction to happen on your website and get the funds on your bank account, you should not use that plugin and instead, you should register with one of the several payment gateways for which we built an integration so that the transaction is handled by them. They will ask you your bank account information in order to be able to credit the funds on it. The most used payment gateways is PayPal but you can also use Moneybookers or AlertPay, or another one.
