categorize products on product listing

Hi!

I would like to display our products in the products listing page, separated by category headings. (see attached screenshot)

so for example between BIO drugs and patents would be another heading, and the products above are all in category "context" and the others in another category.

how is this possible?

You would have to create several products listing modules, one per category, and add them all to a main hikashop category listing menu via the "associated modules" option of the hikashop options of the menu.

I've created two modules and added them via the menu option. there is too much space above the category heading, how can i avoid this space (see screenshot)?

That space is added by the CSS of your template. Hard to say how to change it as it depends on your template... Could you give a link to that page ?

we use the YOOtheme phoenix template

The class hikashop_products can be found in the different listing_* files of the view product that you can edit via the menu Display->Views.
We don't have a class called emtec_product_table and we don't have the template YOOtheme phoenix and we don't know the way you page and your template is setup so we can't give you more help unless you put your website online so that we can check on that page.
