Importing users from csv?

Importing products in Hikashop is a piece of cake!

But importing users is not possible!

Is there a chance that importing users will be a feature in the next release?
Or is there a work around for it which is already usable?

A client of mine has 1200 users in a spreadsheet and he is afraid, that they will be complaining when registering on his site. And more important: he wants to avoid errors in data.

HikaShop use the joomla users. So if you want to import users in HikaShop, you should import them in joomla and you will have them in HikaShop.
That's why we don't plan on having such feature in HikaShop since you can already do that with user import tools for joomla:

If you want to import user addresses in HikaShop, the only option available for now is this:

Would HikaShop reconsider the ability to import users. Yes you can use import tools for Joomla but that does not allow for Address information. I am trying to import users from a different eCommerce package that is not on Joomla to HikaShop and will have to investigate creating a SQL script to achieve what I want. But it would be easier if you could import from CSV.

It's not in the plans for the short term. By the time we would do it, it would probably be already too late for you.
