Order of variants in drop down box

Is it possible to set the order of the product's variants?

Hi,

You can order the characteristics of a product on the characteristics listing of the product.
The values of each characteristic should be ordered based on the order you added them to the characteristic.
There is no way change change that except deleting the values and adding them again in the good order. But that means that the variants won't be pointing to the good values and you will have to re create the variants for your products...
So, in short, it's not possible.

I tried deleting the characteristic's values and re-inserting them in the order I want displayed, but it seems to display them on the front end product page in alphabetical order regardless.

Okay for now but a fix in future versions would be great!

Yes, we add that to the todo list. We will probably add an ordering column to it so that you can reorer them without deleting them.
