How to create a Pick Up shipping plugin

I would like to have the option for customers who live nearby to be able to pick up the ordered products from the store.

So, apart from the selection for Australia Post, I would like to offer the pick up option as well.

How could I achieve this? I only see 3 plugins: Australia Post, UPS and manual. When I tried to use the manual nothing happened.

Open it and then, you need to create a new manual shipping method:

I have problems with the shipping part. We want only sent to the Netherlands, is that possible. So only one zone? And how to set up the Shipping Modes, is there an example i did not have a clue. I cannot find it at the Wiki. And there is no Shipping at a post/product.

I made two shipping options, and set an item to 1 kg. But at the checkout the customer can choose between shippingrates. thats not ok, because the rate for 1kg or less is for instance 2 euros.

It's possible yes. In your manual shipping methods, you need to select the netherlands for the "zone" parameter and that will display your shipping methods only for customers with their address in the netherlands.

On each screen, you have a "Help" button you can click on which explains all the options. Here is the documentation for the edition/creation of shipping methods:

If you see both shipping methods on the frontend, it means that the restrictions you set in the shipping methods allow them to be displayed for the products you have in the cart.

thanks for your fast response. Shipping costs are in to flavours. Less then 1kg -> 2.95EUR. More then 1 kg 6.95 EUR How can i achieve this? and....if the pick up the item at our office there is no shipping costs. Is this possible?

The customer may not be chose between costs. Price is fixed.

And is there a way to not have the country select dropdown?

Yes you can do all that.
For your shipping methods, you can create three methods,
One with a max weight of 1kg and a price of 2.95EUR
One with a min weight of 1kg and a price of 6.95EUR
One for the pick up without a price and that's it.

For the country, you can just add the CSS:

any way to change it so it doesn't say "Free shipping" after pick up?

Any text in HikaShop can be changed with a translation override:

i mean remove that text not change it

If you replace: "Free shipping" by: "" so it will be removed.
