Search results issue

I have both hikashop search plugins enabled.

when a search is done for say, "hansgrohe", which is both a product category and manufacturer, the results show a category match and a manufacturer match, howeve,r when you click on either result, no products are displayed.

can't seem to figure this out.

i have assigned products to the "hansgrohe" category, and assigned them to hansgrohe as the manufacturer.

what am I missing?

You probably didn't set the id of a hikashop category listing menu in the "menu" option of your hikashop category search plugin via the plugin manager of joomla.

nope, still not working.

i assume that if the category id number is 62, i would put that in the box "Itemid for categories", and if the mfg id is 14, that would go in the box "Itemid for manufacturers", right?

It's not the id of the category/manufacturer that you need to put there. It's the id of a listing menu for these kind of results.
