How is the credit card information processed when selecting the HikaShop credit card payment plugin? Or does it send the number by email?

Which option do I select to have the credit card information processed by PayPal by a form within my website (not going thru PayPal's website)?

The credit card payment plugin is indeed only to collect credit card numbers for offline processing.

What you want to use is the paypal pro plugin:
