Batch printing multiple invoices and exporting

Batch printing multiple invoices and exporting was created by wrworkman
1. Is there some way to print a large number of invoices all at once, rather than just one at a time?
2. Is there some way to export the information from orders so that I just get the name, shipping address, and product types and quantities and not all the other stuff?

1. Not easily I'm afraid. That would require a new view to be built so that you could select several orders on the orders listing and print them all at once. It's doable if you're a developer.
2. You can export the orders via the export button on the orders listing.
If you want to remove some of the information in the export, you can do so by editing the code of the file "export" of the view "order" via the menu Display->views. That's easier to do than point 1 but it still requires some knowledge of PHP.
An easy alternative is to open the CSV of the export with Excel or Calc and delete the rows you don't need and save again the file as a CSV.

We've started selling books that are sent to the customer directly from the printers.
Is there any “smart” way to generate a list of approved orders including shipping addresses at the end of every work day, or do the orders have to be handled manually one by one?

You can develop a cron task plugin and have it export the order data everyday automatically.
That's not built in HikaShop by default.
Otherwise, you will have to do it manually with the "export" button of the order listing.

It's now possible to batch print invoices in the orders listing backend of HikaShop with the PDF invoice plugin:
www.hikashop.com/component/hikashop/product/cid-18.html
