Coupons and downloadable files

Hi,

I am trying to get this to work but to no avail.

I basically have downloadable products, (video files) that need to only be available once paid for. This works fine. However my client also requires a coupon that gives 100% off a single product.

When I test this, the discount is applied to the whole order, (so if you add more than 1 product, and then apply the coupon you get 100% of the order free, not just the 1 product as needed) and also because the order is free you do not go to PayPal, it just says 'Thanks for your purchase' and then you receive a created order email, but no email with the file link.

I have read another post on this matter, but setting the regsitration to simplified registration did not work for me.

Any ideas?

If you want a coupon to only apply to one product of your cart, you should use the option "Coupon percentage applies to product only" in your coupon settings (only in commercial editions of HikaShop since 1.5.5):

Note that as explained in the documentation, when you use the option "Coupon percentage applies to product only", you should have selected a category or a product so that the coupon apply to the price of that product or to the price of the products of that category only.
