You should have two prices in your product.
One with the normal price and a minimum quantity of 1 and a second one with the discounted price (66% of the normal price) with a minimum quantity of 3.

Hi,
Trying the above on HS 1.5.7.
I want to do buy one, get one free.
So added a second price against the product with a min quantity as described above - in my case 2.
This gives two problems.
1) Lots of new text on the product page that I don't want - rather have it in the product title and description. Screen attached. My display options are set to "unit price only" in the global config and the content menu for the listing. How do I get rid of this text?

2) The above works great if the customer orders just two - it appears as if one if free as half price is applied. However if they order say 3, It's not buy one, get one free, it's pay full price for a quantity of one and half price for anything above this. How can I sort adding just a free one if more than one is bought?
I don't want to set a maximum quantity.
Thanks,
Tony

Hi,
1. You will find similar price display options in the display tab of the configuration. These are the ones used on the product page.
2. You need to understand how that works.
You always enter the unit price.
So if you enter price/2 and a min qty of 2, and no prices for 3 or 4 quantity, if you order 3 products, it will display a price of 3*price/2. For 4, it will be 4*price/2.
If you want to add only a fixed discount of the amount of the price of the product for quantities above 1, you should instead create an auto loaded coupon with a minimum quantity of 2, the product selected, a flat amount entered and the "Coupon percentage applies to product only" option activated in your coupon options.
That will add automatically the coupon during the checkout.
