Discount if you by a product?

I'm would like to make a product ( in my case the product would be membership on the site) that when put in to the cart you will get a discount on the other products you have in the cart at the same time. Is this possible?

Yes that's possible. In the commercial editions of HikaShop, you can create a coupon which would require that a product is in the cart and auto load the coupon in the cart:

Yey thats good! However I don't whant the discount applyed to that actual product. e.i in my case putting the membership product in the cart should give you a discount on all products in the cart at pressent exept the membership product. Thats what I cant figure out how to do?

Ah yes, you can't have a coupon activated based on one product and applied on other products.
That would require a custom hikashop plugin to be developed to override the coupon handling.
