Is there a way to change the default country (currently France) in the registration form? Thank you in advance.

I am sorry, I could not find the answer that was already posted in the forum before. Unfortunately, the search function does not seem to search the forum posts.

The answer for anyone else looking for this is to go to Display->Custom Fields->Address_Country and change it there.

There are two search boxes: the one next to the currency selector is for searching in articles (the documentation mainly). The one below which appear only when you're on the forum is for searching in the forum.

Can I limit the Country to only one selection? Or, just list the states?

You can unpublish the countries/states you don't need via the menu System->Zones.

very easy
now go to displays>cunstom fields>adress_country and change with your counrty

hello, I am having the same problem. I just started to create the website and installed the shopping cart. I am need to change the default to united states, I did it but when i go to the back end, France appears all the time

Hi,

You have to edit the default tax category in your HikaShop configuration.
We create a fix for the address management which will be included in the next build. We are working hard to release this new build as soon as possible.

I don't use taxes. Is there another way / trick to set the default to "Netherlands" instead of " France" in the registration form?

Via the menu Display > Custom fields, you have to change the default country to Netherlands.

Well, I did that last night, but nothing changed.

Untill I looked again this morning - on another computer.

I must have been looking at my cache last night :blush: That's the only explanation I can think of.
