Characteristics selection method / table

For the option "Characteristics selection method" you can choose dropdown, radio button and table.
What is the difference between dropdown and table? To me either of them shows a dropdown menu.

Is it possible to show a table with the different variants and their pricing and availability? Eg:

o 250ml 1,00$ out of stock
o 500ml 1,75$

The table display is only for when you have two characteristics in your products. Otherwise, it defaults to the dropdown display.

It's always possible to make such display by developing it (you would have to create a characteristic display override: www.hikashop.com/en/support/documentatio...tation.html#override ) but there is no option for that.
