move category description to a column left

We would like to move the category description to a left column to the left of products. We have 20 products listed in each category and right now the category description is at the top of the page, how can we move this to be on the left (sort of like having a left column) that stretches the length of the listings?

You will have to edit the file "listing" of the view "category" via the menu Display->Views and change the code so that image is displayed on the left and the rest on the right.
