checkout workflow hiding some other modules was created by alain.roger
Hi,
my main eshop page has 3 columns (left: for categories products, center: for products themselve and process of checkout, and right: for cart and search modules).
when user clicks on "proceed to checkout" button of the cart, i would like to make my right column hidden... more precisely, i would like to hide the search module as also the cart module on the right side.
is it possible ?
maybe the checkout workflow can we display in some other page (inside eshop)...
thx

If you want to not display some modules in the checkout, you will have to change the "force a menu on checkout" option to something else than eshop so that in the modules, you can not have these modules assigned to that menu but still assigned to the eshop menu.

I understood it but it means that my breadcrumb will display something else than Home > eshop > checkout...but something like Home > checkout.

Yes. I don't have any other simple solution for you.
The other way to do it is to modify your template in order to add checks on the display of the module position so that it doesn't display based on the parameters in the URL. But that require some coding knowledge and it's not possible with some templates. If you want to go that road, you should ask your template provider support on how to do that.
