Pagination

I need help with the pagination 'selected page'. I have been unable to find a solution to this, in the forum, and appreciate all help.

As you can see the number 1 which is the selected page is showing as a block with a circle in it. How to I change this so its only a number.

That must be because of the CSS of your template.
Impossible to tell you what to do without looking at that page with firebug. Could you give a link ?

You will have to remove the code:
.pagination li span {
background: url(../images/pagnav-bg.png) no-repeat left top;
}

from the file:
www.gaiassecrets.com/templates/ja_methys/css/template.css
