Default shipping option for Manual Shipping plugin

I am setting up the manual shipping plugin for a client of mine. They have multiple shipping options available within the US. The issue that I am having is that I can't seam to change the default shipping option, the one that is selected by default when the checkout page loads. At the moment is is choosing by default a method I don't want to be the default.

I have found I can change the order of the items by changing the order in the manual shipping list, but that has no effect on the shipping method that is selected by default.

Anyone have any thoughts on how to change this?

I am running HikaShop 1.5.7 and Joomla 1.5.25.

Changing the order of the shipping methods is indeed the solution.
If no shipping method has already been selected, the system will select the first one by default.
You probably thought that it didn't work because in fact the selection had already been made so when you changed the order and looked on the front end, the selected shipping method was still the same one, but it actually works if you try on another browser (because it will be a new user session).

I can confirm that this does not work as intended. Even when I open a new incognito browser, I find that I cannot change the order of shipping options no matter what I do in emotorwerks.com/administrator/index.php?...plugin_type=shipping

the order of shipping options displayed in my checkout flow (Shipping step) does not have any connection to the order of these same shipping methods I set in emotorwerks.com/administrator/index.php?...plugin_type=shipping . You can imagine this is quite annoying

Well, the ordering of shipping methods works fine on our end so I would recommend to first update to the latest version of HikaShop and see if that helps.
If not, please provide a screenshot of your shipping methods listing in the backend so that we can see how you configured them.
