Character limit for vote comment only 255?

Hi,

Is the character limit for the vote comment on product page only 255 characters? Because I tested by typing in a comment longer than that, and it got cut off at 255 characters.

As I may want to set a character limit, it should preferably be around 3500 characters. 255 is too short to comment.

Any way to fix that? Thanks.

You need to edit the field vote_comment of the table hikashop_vote via phpmyadmin and set its type to text instead of VARCHAR(255). That will allow roughly 650000 characters.

We'll change that for next version for new installs of HikaShop.
