Is there a way yet to provide free shipping coupon code without changing the programming code? If not, what is the most current or correct code to modify to do this?

Thanks for the information but that's an expensive $60 solution that should be handled in Hikashop or Hikaserial.

I tried the modified code from another member as discussed in this thread, it works, however when testing in IE, the coupon code is cached and will not release if you delete the coupon from the cart. Not sure about other browsers. Any suggestions?

Are you sure that the modification you made is the cause of the issue ? Maybe the problem was already there before your modifications ? You should try to revert them and see if it works or not.
I remember such issue with some previous versions of HikaShop, so if you're not using the latest version, maybe it could be wise to try to update and see if that helps.
