Adding Direct Debit capability was created by simond
Hi there,
I'm very impressed with Hikashop so far but is there anyway to incorporate a Direct Debit payment?
Happy to upgrade - but i can't see it mentioned in the commercial editions either.

Hi,

There is no such solution for that. You're actually the first one asking for one.
Could you give more information on what exactly would you need (direct debit works quite differently in each country) ?

Hi Nicolas,

Crikey - maybe there's another way that everyone deals with this problem (I shall continue to investigate!)
In the meantime, please find attached a sample form of the type of thing.

(also, whilst you're about ;) - Is it possible to not have the Product Code showing on the product item page? At the moment it is showing up along with the H1 which doesn't look great)

You can turn off the "show product code" option of the Display tab of the configuration for that.

Hi again Nicolas - it is switched off, but it still shows up on the individual product page - just not on the listing :(

Just try to add that CSS in the front end CSS of HikaShop via the Display tab of the configuration:
.hikashop_product_code_main{ display:none;}

Thanks Nicolas,

I can see now that i didn't have the CSS default set (which includes the CSS that you mention - switching that on did the trick!

Thanks for sorting that so swiflty - I am looking forward to seeing if i can sort the next challenge and getting to grips with this excellent software.

I have the same question. Needed information for a direct debit payment is:
Name:
Bankaccount (IBAN):
BICCode/Swift:
checkbox for agree for direct debit payment.

You can always add these fields as custom fields of the table "order" via the menu Display->Custom fields of the Business edition.
That will allow you to ask the information during the checkout. However, if you want to display/hide the fields based on the payment method selected (if you have several of them) that will require some custom programing of the "fields" file of the checkout view via the menu Display->Views.
