Pagination not showing and "random items" not on

The pagination for my modules is not showing up. I check through the forum and on your faq and it says that this is most likely because "random items" is on. I have it set to "no" so I am a bit confused as to how to get it working.

There is no pagination for modules unless there are displayed inside menus.
Can you give a link to that page so that we can see that ?
