Continue to Products not displaying in categories.

I tried the reinstall but I still have no luck.

I may have misspoke earlier today also.
In =Hika_products i have 1061 same as my csv
In =Hika_category_products I have 869. So the missing products are not getting into the category_products in the db's table.
Any new thoughts?

Which version of hikashop are you using ?

For the products missing, does the categories exist ?

From what you're saying, I understand that the 869 products are in there and that you can access them right ? So, the best would be to find one product which doesn't and try to understand why it wasn't linked to a category. Maybe you could copy its CSV line here so that we could better see the problem.

The categories exist, one of them has products that are displaying, but were maunally added. The upc column(D) with a letter eg 205a are shown front and back. The numerical are not added to the db _category_Products. There are multiple other products in different categories thatare not being shown,but these few are whats so puzzling to me. Half in,Half out????

Aren't you missing the commas/semicolons in there ?

I copied out of a spreadsheet Tab delimeted. When it's saved itgets saved as csv with ;," as the text field delimeters. Thats how all of the other products were uploaded also.

Could you open the CSV with a text editor like notepad++ and copy those same lines here ? It's just to check that the format is good.

Also, if you could copy along the header of the file (the first line).

ive got $ formating in all numeric cells , lol? who knew. I'll take itout and see whst it does.

The last set are some of the ones that aren't showing. Every line was initially added via the same csv? I dont know why it would dropcertain categories.I've triple checked the categorie links....

Fixed,I dropped both tables again, and a reinstall. I tend to over complicate things,????

I see that the categories of both sets of products are not the same. Maybe the category id wasn't the correct one, or the type of the category wasn't the correct one (the category type needs to be "product" in the database. If that's not the case, as it could happen in some strange cases, then the categories might not show up as well as the products attached to them).
