Customer account

Hi,

I have created a trial customer account in my new Hikashop. After editing the account information in the Customer Account section and pressing the Save button, the Homepage appears (with a green strip that says 'your setttings have been saved'). Apparently, I am still logged in but I have to reenter the shop, which of course will be confusing to any real customer. What can be done about this?

The settings of the user is a joomla page, not a HikaShop page.
So HikaShop has no control on the save of the settings.
It seems that someone else had that problem before you but I couldn't find any solution about it:

Thank you for your quick reply. If it can't be fixed, what else can I do? I want customers to first pay and then be able to download a document. Can I somehow bypass the Customer Account section?

If you disable the "HikaShop joomla user account link plugin" via the joomla plugins manager, you will not have the link to the joomla profile edition page from the HikaShop control panel. That will avoid the problem.

Hi when i open part Account settings->Customer account here disappears my left menu how i can get this?

In the options of the "HikaShop joomla user account link plugin" , you have an option to specify the ID of the menu item for the user profile edition page. Your modules' menu assignement need to have that menu item checked and they will display on that page.

I didn't really understood your question, also did you succeed to display you module through your "Customer account" menu's page ?
