product code of characteristics

Hi again!
I need your hep please!
I have 7 characteristics on my product but

1. whatever i choose appears ALWAYS the code of the first characteristic
Why does it happen?
2. Is there a way to fix it?
3. How can i hide the characteristic code if i do not need it?

If you want to hide the characteristic code, you'll maybe have to use the options Append characteristics value to product name and Display the characteristics name.

i did it but the product code after characteristics selected appears again (and it is not the right code)

If you don't want the product code to appear, you should turn off the "show product code" option in the configuration.

my characteristics codes are
2000_1
2000_2
2000_3
2000_4

BUT MY PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN SOMEONE SELECT FOR EXAMPLE XL WITH PRODUCT CODE 2000_4 IT APPEARS 2000_1
WHATEVER YOU SELECT IT APPEARS ALWAYS 2000_1?

Ok, I see what you mean. The can be caused by either a javascript error on your pages, or an HTML customization of the product page which was not done correctly.

If you can give a link to that page we could have a look at that and tell you more precisely what it is and what can be done.

I am sorry for uppercase i was trying to specify the most important place in my message.
there is no link because i am working it with local host because is under construction.
Is there something to check, to find what is the problem?

You can look at the javascript error console of your browser while selecting the characteristics.
If it's a javascript error, you will have an error appear there.

If it's a HTML error, it would mean that there is a high chance that you changed the product view files and broke some of the HTML code. Renaming the templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop folder to something will disable all the view overrides so that you'll be able to see if it comes from that.

when i select java console it does not doing anything.
When i select error console does not have any errors.

About the html code i did not change anything

I already told you that if you don't want the product code to appear, you should turn off the "show product code" option in the configuration.

There is no other way.

I suggest that you put your website on a test server online so that we can look at that as we are trying to figure out a solution without knowing how the 2000_1 text is displayed on your page. It would save both of us our time.
