oversize packages

Is there anyway to get HIkashop to figure this out or plug in calculations somewhere for oversize packages going to places like Puerto Rico or such? We know the max would be about 5 products and the average weight and size. But combining a possibly changing oversize fee plus distance fee has a lost. :S

As far as I understand, you could handle that with the manual shipping methods plugin. Did you look at that ?

We need UPS to do the calculations. It was too much a loss to do it manually when they change prices or what have you. We know that the max will be 5 products and the size of each package (whether there is 1, 2, 3 ,4 or 5.) It's just the form sees to only have a place for approximate weight/ size if your shipping each one in a different package. :

I'm not sure I understand.
You can enter the weight for your products by editing the products. Then if you configure the UPS plugin, it will send requests to UPS in order to get the shipping fees automatically.

That doesn't work for your packages ? If so, what is the error you're having ? And what are the weight/dimensions you're using for the products in the cart ?
