Popular item view on frontend was created by lost-in-cyber-space
Hi, I'm trying to put a most recently viewed or popular view onto the front end so that when some one is looking at the stuff to sell they will see what has been viewed the most, or what is recently been viewed, it would be good to have say 3 or 4 items that could be chosen.
Does any one know how to do this kind off thing?
Regards
Steve.

Hi,
It's not possible yet for the system to know which product has been the most viewed/sold automatically. However, you can create a special category and add this category to the products you feel meet that criteria and then use a content module to display a list of the products in that category. For that, you can go to display->content modules. Create a new one, select that category as parent category and then place that module on your template like any other joomla module.
