No Customer Name associated with some orders

Strange issue we have, with some orders the customer's name is not displayed on the sales page and if you click the link symbol in the customer panel there is no content showing. Clicking on the order number brings up all the normal order details correctly, so we can still work out who to ship to, etc.

This missing information is occurring in about 15% of orders coming in - any ideas? Database error perhaps? Is there any way of checking/repairing database links if needed? Happening in 1.43 and 1.44.

Could you do some screenshots so that we can better understand where is the problem ?

Also, when a user doesn't have an account on your website and order while you have the option "registration" to "no registration", no joomla user will be created for the user. Thus, the name in the orders listing and order details won't be displayed as the information comes from the joomla user.

I will mail you a log in so you can see for yourself Nicolas - don't really want to show customer emails etc in screenshot.
