Need help on Registration Page

Need help on Registration Page was created by 49grill
I installed HikaShop and everything is working fine. However, when I test the check-out procedure, the only issue I have thus far is that next to the log-in form, it says "Registration not allowed"

I can't seem to find where I enable this. Can someone help?

It's in the joomla configuration. You have an option to allow or disallow registration:
docs.joomla.org/Setting_user_registration_policy

not the same global config in Joomla 1.6 as in joomla 1.5 global config. can't follow the same enablement menu.

On joomla 1.6, the user registration option can be found like this:

Go in the menu Users->User management and click on the button "options" in the toolbar on the right:
help.joomla.org/proxy/index.php?option=c...6:Users_User_Manager
You will get a popup of options and the first one will be "allow user registration":

One more question on the User Registration form, can you tell me how to change the default country and state to the United States?

You can do that in the menu Display->Custom fields. You should edit both the address_country and address_state fields.

You can do that in the menu Display->Custom fields. You should edit both the address_country and address_state fields.

Is this not available in the free version as I can't seem to find it. Thank you!!

It is available. Don't you see the menu Display->Custom fields when you're in HikaShop on the backend ?
