ZENCART, can you migrate info easily over

I am useing Zen cart now, and would like to pull the info from zen cart over to hika, is there a easy away. Is there a program or module that can help you convert this? Can you just copy the database over to sgl?

What kind of data are you looking into transferring ? Products info ? Categories tree ? Users ? Orders ?
There is no easy one click button but with export/import steps you might be able to do it, at least for some data.

Looking on zen cart forums, there is apparently a tool called easy populate which allows you to export your product data into a CSV:

Then, you can edit it via excel and change the column names to match the ones in HikaShop and then import it into HikaShop.
If you want to knwo to list of available column names in HikaShop, you can go in the import screen and enter some crap in the textarea and click on import. That should display an error message with the list of valid column names.

are you (hika shop ) working on any app like this because my drop shipper sends the product list in
zen cart format but i would like to quickly convert to hikashop format for obvious reasons

We are not yet working on such tool.
