Product Image Popup

Hey,

I have one question regarding the product image popups on the product page:

When I click on a product image, a pop up appears, with a larger version of the product image. Unfortunately, within within this "lightbox" it is not possible to click on an arrow to open the next or previous image. That would be really an enhancement. Because now, you have to close the lightbox, and click on the next thumbnail.

Another question regarding the same issue. Why is the html output for the image thumbnails and lightbox stored in the hikashopImageHelper class. Wouldn't it be much better to also put this data in a view, so we could change the appearance by template overrides?

There is indeed no next/previous buttons on the popup. I'ts already in the todo list.

You can't override the code in the helper, but you can override the view which calls it, so you can do pretty much anything you want.

Me too! ... I was looking for the same functionality! (and so I am impatient to see it implemented)

Suggestion : Couldn't you offer the choice of using one of the many lightbox systems available?

You should be able to use other lightboxes by editing a bit the views of HikaShop.
For now we have other priorities to improve HikaShop but we add that to the todo list for the future

It should not. It should open in a popup. If it doesn't, it means that you have a javascript error on your page which prevents the javascript code of the popup to be initialized.
