Hi

I have set up my Hikashop so that only registered members can see and use it.

What I would like to happen, is when a member signs up to the site (I have included their postal address in the sign up), can this data be passed over to Hikashop without the need to re-enter their postal address?

HikaShop has it's own registration component that replaces Joomla's native registration. You can set it as the site's registration page.

This will also add the address automatically to HikaShop.

Yes. Simply create a menu item of the type HikaShop registration and/or enable the HikaShop user registration redirect plugin so that the registration page used on your website is the HikaShop one and not the joomla one and that will work automatically.
