Is there a way to make characteristics change

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to make one characteristic change bases on another one when it is changed? for example my site ridebs.com/index.php/shop/shirts-and-hoo...-cleveland-all-stars when i select Style i would like color to change to only the appropriate colors for that style. Currently it just shows no stock available. This is slightly confusing to people using it because certain styles only come in certain colors.

If that isnt possible is there a way to display multiple groups of characteristics with heading for each group like this site www.iphonicmusic.com/category/store/ ?

That's not possible for now. If you have only two characteristics for your products, you can display them as a table and thus not allow customers to select non existing variants. But I see that you have three characteristics. So that won't do.

Characteristics are only displayed on the product page for one product. There is no option to display multiple groups of characteristics on the same page either.
