selling affiliate products
i would like to add to the shop products which i take from other affiliate sites like cj/ebay/amazon and etc
how do i make a checkout for such products is there any way to make the checkout within my store?
what about a cart with multiple affiliate sites (e.g prod1=ebay & prod2=cj? how do i handle this?
do you have any written/video guide for these issues?
tnx!

It's hard to say anything.
It depends on what you want to do and what kind of contract you have with these websites.
It's possible to add products in your shop and sell them on your website with HikaShop. But what do you mean when you say that you want to "take them from other affiliate sites" ? Do you want to import them automatically via CSV ?
Do you want to purchase them at the same time on the affiliate websites ?
Or maybe you just want to redirect the user to the affiliate website so that the user can purchase there and you get a commission for redirecting the user from your website ?

i have a shop in my website and i want to add more products to it. i have associate accounts in CJ+EBAY+AMAZON and i want to take links of products from these accounts. the question is how carts & checkout process works with products that are not mind?
i don't want the visitors to redirect to these websites - i want them to stay in my website and do all purchase process in my website....
hope it's more clear now...
thank you
zvika

If the products on CJ+EBAY+AMAZON are yours, you can add them on your website and handle the payment on your website. I don't see the problem with that.
If these products are not yours, then the payment will of course have to pass through CJ+EBAY+AMAZON and I suppose that what you want is the commission form these sales.

as the things are built now - for every product the customer needs he will redirected to the seller website and leave mind.
another scenario issue is when i actually own several products but i want to add more to the shop - i will not be able to do that unless i will buy them in advance.

Nicolas, so drop shipping isn't legal in your country? (Not holding stock, but then once you get an order talking to the manufacturer to send straight to the client)
Just a thought, as this is now off topic from the thread but remains relevant to shopping carts etc, would you be able to add a "general" forum where non hikashop talk is allowed (so you could talk about basic joomla questions, selling techniques etc)

i'll give you an example :
i'm building a website for DIY HOME IMPROVEMENT which includes how to guides. on the side panels and in the bottom of the website.there are specific products for the specific guide.
lets say you read about building a deck in your garden. you will need woods, tools and some more products to accomplish the work. now if i have only affiliate links for such products you will need to redirect to the seller website for each product you need. if you don't have account there you will also need to open one - so the result will be that for one project you want to make you will have to visit several seller websites and of course leave mind. it's also means that the "cart" system in this case is not relevant....

The thing is that ebay and co do not have a way to automate the process of buying products on their website.
So you can't just add a link in HikaShop (or any other ecommerce solution) and it would get the text, create a product on your website and buy the product automatically when someone buys it on your website. Since it is impossible, it needs to be done manually and as tjharvey has said, that requires to talks with the vendors to see if they could become your suppliers and thus cut the link to ebay and directly add the products in your cart.
@tjharvey: it is legal if the manufacturer has the stock and sends it directly after the order. What the law tries to avoid is that you sell product that you don't have and you wait to have enough buyers money to buy yourself all the products of everyone in one purchase in order to get lower prices. In such case, you would have to buy first the products before selling them so that customers don't have to wait weeks before getting their product.
