Sub Zone (Sub state) dropdown menu didn't work

Hello,

On the customer control panel add/edit address, sub state dropdown field didn't work (country & state : OK)
I already create & publish custom field for sub state

It's only available 'zone' field type, How to create sub zone (sub state) custom field ?

Hi,

There is no such possibility.
You can create a standard custom field of the type dropdown for that but the system won't use it for shipping methods zone restrictions nor for taxes etc.

I hope it will be improved in the future, because in large state area will have different shipping cost for every sub state.

Usually, in such cases, you use post code range restrictions in your shipping methods to differentiate the different sub state zones and avoid to have the user to select another dropdown.
